On February 2nd, 2020, the Project C:CHANGE team of changemakers from all over the world successfully summited Uhuru Peak – Mt Kilimanjaro’s peak at 5985m above sea level – at 1005am. To complete the 8-day charity climb the team faced one of the wettest weeks on record, braving torrential rain every day and snowstorms on the summit climb. This brave endeavor took months of preparation and kick starts the fundraising campaign to raise $150K USD overall by the end of March 2020 to protect and restore irreplaceable biodiversity and wildlife for the future.
Project C:CHANGE primarily raises funds to aid local charities working on the ground in Africa. Their work is essential in protecting endangered animal species, particularly elephants, rhinos, and big cats.
Project C:CHANGE is a social enterprise and media platform founded by Sean Lee-Davies, dedicated to generating awareness in China and Asia about global environmental degradation, climate change and conservation through the power of celebrity.
